Project Progress
I think I am finally seeing the end of this nasty upper respiratory bug. Two weeks seems to be the benchmark for this thing. Good riddance, I say.
I've been plugging along on some knitting projects. Cathy, here's the first sock of pair #2 for you.
It's a bit baggy at the toe, but I think that'll be alright for fit. It's very stretchy because of the ribbing, so it looks kinda small off one's foot, but hopefully will be the right size when it arrives at your end. Do you want me to send this lone one before I make #2 or shall we just assume everything will fit okay?
I've also been making quite a bit of progress on the "River" stole/scarf. I am almost at the halfway mark on it. So, assuming I can keep putting in a minimum of a couple of rows a day on this, I should have it done for the end of January as my Holiday Headstart project #1.
I think I've gotten into the groove with the pattern repeats and knitting this yarn loosely but evenly enough to get all my SSKs and K2togs to behave nicely.
More snow forecast for us today, although it sounds like the bulk of it will actually be in the southern mountains.....before the system really gets cranked up and goes to dump another bazillion inches on the Denver area. At least it's actually winter here, and not pretending to be spring, like the east coasters are currently experiencing.
All for now......

Go ahead and finish 2nd sock.
River is very pretty too!
Enjoying your 365 photos.

I was totally spacey and in my own world and didn't realize it was going to snow today. I hope it doesn't mess up my flight out tonight!

Typepad is still treating me like a spammer, but I'm gonna comment anyway...love the stole! Is that from Arctic Lace? You can post photos on HH...you SHOULD post a photo of that beauty! (I'm on Day 17 of this crud, but I think I'm finally winning the battle!)

The sock yarn is lovely - very autumnal.
Not wishing to jump the gun - Marcia, the River Stole is from a past Rowan Magazine (I think it's 39 or 38, one of the winter ones anyway).

We actually had some seasonal temps here in Maine today...below freezing! We are all completely underdressed and confused. It is not pretty...
Nicely done on the FOs! So glad that you are finally on the road to recovery.

I am so glad to hear you are feeling better! Your sock looks great...as does your stole. I accomplished nothing when I was sick, unless you want to count mistakes.
I heard winter is coming here next week. I'm hoping they are wrong. They are wrong quite a bit around here. :)
