Project #1:  Lace Diamond Scarf

Oh yeah, baybee!  I am totally rockin' it now.  Three whole repeats.  Does this thing look any farther along?  No.....not really.  Anyway, I have 1 repeat and then I get to turn the corner for the first long side.  I think I can follow the instructions (novel concept, eh?) in the Victorian Lace Today even though I changed the size of this.  However, I'm going to throw in a lifeline because KSH is a beast to frog and I suspect there may be some of that in my future.

Goal:  Finish 1 full "normal" repeat, and tackle turning the corner.  Looks like that will take at least 2 more repeats, maybe 3.

Project #2:  Little Child's Socks

I finished turning the heel AND finished up the gusset decreases, so I just have the foot to work on for sock #1.

Goal:  Finish the foot repeats and get ready to work the toe.

Project #3:  Cobblestone Pullover

Unfortunately, I didn't get as much knitting done on this as I thought I would - just another inch of the body.  I think that'll likely be about what I get finished again this week.

Goal:  Another inch of stockinette.

All for now.......

Ok, I know it seems lame when one's goal is an inch of stockinette, but sometimes, those boring stretches seem to take much longer. At least the lace repeats keep you interested. I'm working on a Koigu baby sweater and I had to put it down because another inch of stockinette was going to kill me.

At least you're moving forward!

Well, don't talk to me about progress....I'm barely halfway through the Endless Baby Blanket and the DIL is starting to dilate. Everything else is on hold till I finish this #@%& thing, too!

Oh, c'mon - all that time you'll just be sitting on Bhen? Surely you can turn that into knit time! Heh.

This, of course, from me who's sum total of progress in the past week has been about an inch of one ribbed sock foot.

Good luck with "turning the corner" on the scarf - that will really feel like progress. I'm thinking about doing another VLT project after I'm done with Forest Canopy.

Knitting while riding - now that would be something to see! I wouldn't try it until the horses are done shedding though. I just washed 3 pair of handknit socks with my horse clothes and found out that horse hair clings to wool. I won't make that mistake again.

Why can't I get that "inch by inch, row by row" folk song out of my head?

I am sorry you can't knit through your treatments....it must be hard to sit through without it. I sure hope they are helping.

You have knit more than I. Much more. I really should be knitting right now...

An inch is one inch closer to the finish line. Sounds like you had a productive week to me. :)

I agree with Margaret on this one, I do hope you can get ahead of the nasty monster that has you in it's grips! As a member of this club (the autoimmune disease club, that is), I can totally empathize! And IMHO any goal is better than no goal!
