I did some searching on Ravelry for patterns - both sweaters and vests, in both sportweight and DK-weight yarns. I fell in love with this little number. (Ravelry link). It's a great vest from ChicKnits and it calls for DK-weight, so the decision to move the yarn to a 3-ply got a lot easier.
I absolutely love it the way this Raveler wears the vest, with a long-sleeve T-shirt under it. That is SO me!
So.....having gotten my first 3 bobbins of singles spun up, I went ahead and started plying this. I've gotten two lovely skeins totalling about 332 yards that look like this:
Want a closeup? Of course you do! The second picture's color is most true to life.
Now on to the final 7 ounces and I've got a plan!
All for now.....

Oh, how nicely spun! Looks all cushy, soft and snuggly. And will look terrif as that vest!

That is some beautiful yarn! I think I need to do three-ply on my Black Welsh Mountain roving that arrived yesterday!

Thanks for finding yet something else for me to queue up :) You are a fantastic spinner and I only hope that some day I can spin like you!!!

I'm sure it will be great!
Heh. I have a knit vest I purchased that looks quite a bit like that. Never wear it. Maybe I should send it to you.

Nicole will look great on you - especially in the 2nd colorway - isn't amazing how cameras capture different colors?

I like the name of the ChicKnits pattern. :-)

Well of course I love the vest and the yarn. This time I guess I was the one to copy you when I bought lavender fiber two weeks ago. :) Mine photographs the same way - cooler lavender in one photo and more pinkish in the next.
