Long-time blog reader, Dawn (who happens to be responsible for my uber awesome banner for the blog too), pointed me towards the Good Reads site with my last book review post last week.
I was unsure about adding in yet another site to bother with, but I actually am pretty impressed with the organization of the site, and the ability to get some good recommendations.
I think I have found a few of you already, but if you are a Good Reads member and wouldn't mind, will you let me know if I could add you as a friend (or shoot me a note in the comments and I'll be glad to reply with the email I've used to set my account up) if you think we'd like the same sort of books?
Now... I just have to get my dad hooked on this site and I will be set! He's such a voracious reader, I could only read a tenth of what he reads in a month and still be kept plenty busy.
All for now.....

I'm on good reads but sometimes forget to go on and log what I'm reading. If you don't ming letting me know your email, I'll add you to my friends.

Someone asked me to join a couple of years ago and I have kept my books up to date their since. It's a great way to find new book titles you'll enjoy, but a very good way to remember when and what you've read. You found me!

*Love* GoodReads! Had joined Shelfari first, looked into GoodReads, then got really sucked in LibraryThing, but am almost exclusively on GoodReads now because they have an app for my phone so I can look up where I'm at on a series or if I already own something when I'm out and about. I just can't quite seem to get caught up on what Kindle books I've gotten as I have a hard time not "buying" free ones that are lendable because I just might get a chance to lend them to someone even if I don't care to read them.

When I read this post on Cornflower, I bought Peter May's first book in the series "Blackhouse". It's on Kindle. I bought it yesterday and have not been able to put it down. I'm trying to pace myself a bit since I paid full price! vbg. Anyhow, I just went back to Amazon and bought the second one in the series as well. Blackhouse is turning out to be one of the best reads I've had in quite awhile...and I read 1-2 books a week!

Ooh, add me as a friend, but I'm not sure how to find me. When Goodreads first started I got an invite from my daughter who addressed it to me as "Mum", so I am Mum Campbell on GR. If you can't find me, let me know.

I am on Goodreads, but I never remember to put books on it. My nephew invited me to join, and he adds books constantly! I'll friend you if I can remember my password. There are a few book blogs out there that I get good recommendations from - one that comes to mind is http://yourehistory.wordpress.com/ I had another favorite who quit blog

I am a goodreads member, but I have to admit that I use it mostly for cataloging my books. Since I started doing my monthly reading list on my blog I've stopped doing even that. One of these days I'll need to get back to it....
I do belong to two good reads groups - The Endicott group and The Books On The Nightstand group. Both are excellent.

I'm a GoodReader. The usual nom de plume.
