I gotta lotta knitting done this weekend! First off - the Elemental Pullover.
Sleeve #1 is finished (up to the point where it will need to get joined to the body since this is a yoke sweater).
I cast on for the body, got the hem knit and sewn in place, and then started on the rest of the long uphill climb of stockinette.
This is going to be my mindless-knit project, for the car or some other place when I don't want to lug charts along. So no specific goals on this - some weeks will have more, some less knit-time on them. (This week will probably be one of the "less" weeks.)
While we were away, I cast on yet another for-me project. (See - it is a Pandora box that "just for me" concept.) This is the Fair Isle Skirt which was in IK several years ago, but you can get it as an individual download now. Many of the original colors were discontinued, so I'm sort of winging it. I'm using a dark charcoal gray for the main color (the original forest green isn't available anymore), and we'll see how the rest of it goes along.
The colors in this are a bit shifted towards blue due to the shadowy light, but at any rate, I have finished the interior waistband and started on the simple 1x1 fair isle pattern for the body of the skirt. Again, I haven't got a specific goal or time-frame to work on this, so I'll continue to chip away at it for a while in between the other Sekrit Projects on the needles.
All for now.....
Wow! You have some great knitting ahead of you. Love the color of you Elemental.

I wish I could wear knitted skirts. But sadly, there are just too many lumps and bulges for that to be a sane idea.

The skirt is very interesting, I don't remember ever seeing it before. I should wear skirts, but that would require shopping and figuring out some outfits. Oh to be stylish...
I thought I'd have a WIP post today until I realized that it's gift socks I'm knitting. *sigh* Maybe I'll post them anyway, but in B&W.

MmmmmMMMMmmm, that fair isle skirt is beautiful, I'd never noticed it before. But conveniently I have all the back issues of IK to 2000! So I must have the pattern around here somewhere...

Lovely knitting all around!
I so agree about scarves but sometimes you just gotta do it...
