I have been a really bad blogger recently. Normally I'm pretty good about having bits and bobs of things to chat about, but I seriously do not know where the time has gone since mid-November (or maybe mid-summer... seems like it is just rushing past!).
I do have several things on the needles right now - none of which I can really talk about. I have a fairly quick deadline at the end of January I'm trying to stay focused on that's my primary project right now, and perhaps once that's over with, I'll be back to a more normal pace.
Our local LYS has upgrade to a new, larger and much nicer retail space than they had previously, and I've arranged to have a booth space there that'll have all my yarns in a single location (and not more randomly tucked in places in the shop), so before he left for business travel D finished up a repainting job on a display cabinet I had picked up, and I'm trying to get enough product dyed that the shelves will be nicely stocked. I'm also planning on announcing a new worsted-weight line for January 1st (think Malabrigo-esque), and I'll have a new shawl pattern and kit release then too, so I've been busily putting the final touches on all of that. And in the studio, I'm working on the final baker's dozen or so skeins for the first kit shipment of the 2013 Heroines Club which ships January 1st as well .
Otherwise, I'm keeping busy with reading and some running, and general daily things around here. I think D and I are having a very quiet Xmas, which I'm sure will be fine with jet-lagged him, and definitely for me too! I predict posts will be spotty and random over the next month or so, but I'll check in when I've got something to share!
All for now.....
Sounds like a series of plans. I'm always impressed with your reach and diversification.
